If you're in the market for a longboard for cruising and are a beginner or intermediate rider then the ANDRIMAX 41" Longboard Skateboard is a nice fit. The board has a sturdy 8 layer Canadian Maple deck that has just enough flex for a comfortable ride without over flexing. The trucks are mounted through a hole at each end of the board so instead of the board sitting on top of the wheel trucks it hangs off them. The design is different than previous boards I've had but definitely just as sturdy. Between the truck mount to the board and the wheel axle there's a rubber bushing that helps soften the ride and pivot when turning. The board actually turns really well for such a long board and that allows for carving it up really good. The sharp cornering comes in really handy when going down steep grades by allowing you to weave sharply to prevent picking up too much speed. If speed is your game then this board does that well too. The board comes complete and assembled to include the tool required to make adjustments and repairs. As an added touch the wheels light up in motion and look pretty cool, especially in low light.

This board is smooth and sturdy well balanced I get a good speed with the stock barrings, I can take sharp turns unbelievable.Can't do it with other long boards the turn raidias only goes so much but this board turn raidias goes it's maximum and that's the best part of it all!! Love the black color and design of it, strong deck no worries with that, definitely worth it's value. Great gift idea for sure and the turn raidias is not for beginners.

This one is quite nice.Makes not only a great first time longboard but even the seasoned skater in this house likes this one.i tried this out myself and found it to be smooth and had just the right amount of flex to it.Bearings did not even need to be adjusted like with so many others we have tried.It is one that is reached for more than others because it is so nice.

Reading the product information, questions/answers and reviews on this board can be really confusing. Part of the confusion is because the two boards in the listing are slightly different. The "Bee" model includes a "drop-through" design which is really cool as it lowers the center of gravity since the trucks mount through a hole in the board as opposed to being attached on the bottom. Bottom line is that this is a good starter board for a kid or teen who doesn't know a ton about longboarding.I got it for myself because it seems like a great deal. My son who has been longboarding for years and built his own boards for a while said it was a good quality board although he said that the light-up wheels are "slow" and he'd replace them right away. "Slow" seems like a bonus for me so it doesn't bother me at all.If you are buying it for your son or daughter who is new to longboarding and doesn't know a lot about it, this is a really perfect place to start. If they already have longboards or know a ton about them. Ask their advice before you buy since there are a ton of different types and styles and it is difficult for the uneducated to sort through them all.My only other advice if you are buying this for a gift is to make sure the recipient has someone to ride with. If they don't get 2 so they can have one for other family members or a friend. Longboarding is a very social sport, the difference between this board being something you or your child really get into or it sitting in the garage can be if they have someone to do it with.Overall, very happy with the board, great for a starter board but good enough quality to last the long term. My 10 year old had been wanting a skateboard for a long time. He isn't the most coordinated kid and, after his first attempt on a different board, he fell off and banged up his knee pretty good. I thought he was done for sure but, a few months later, he decided he wanted to try again. I gave his board a try and it had far too much flex so I sought out a different board and landed on this one. It was a great choice. It has average flex which helps the more balance-challenged children learn better. At the same time, it turns and rolls smoothly and easily. The deck is solid and durable. I would highly recommend this long board.

The wheels are closer together than pictured so this board is not as stable. The cutouts for the wheels had to be more narrow as a result, so the board is more narrow near the trucks as pictured. This would negatively impact the durability.If you are looking for a beginning board, a longboard has a lower center of gravity and a wider track for stability. This one has a more narrow track than other wide boards, so other boards may be better for beginners. This board also does not seem to want to go very fast so more advanced riders may also want to look elsewhere.Besides the issues I just identified, the board works fine. The wheels light up as advertised. The wheels spin but could be adjusted to spin more freely.

This is a classy and well made board, and is perfect for beginners. The deck has an aggressive emery grip for traction and the board just looks great. I love the simple black and gold theme that isn't loud and flashy. The design is bees and nothing offensive or childish. Perfectly giftable.

Love the bee design on this long board. For whatever reason one of my kids thought it was really cool. The long board is pretty flexible yet holds my 200+ lbs. You have to exaggerate your Movements to get this to turn but it does roll.I like that it comes with the tool to adjust and tighten because you'll probably want to mess with it to get it to your liking. This is great for beginners and beyond.

This is my first longoard and as a complete beginner, this was so much fun to ride! It feels pretty solid and not too stiff right out of the box, I was able to pick up maneuvering relatively quickly. And the wheels LIGHT UP when they roll!! They looked amazing riding in the park at dusk. I think it's a good board even for complete novices like me.

We ended up getting the Bee longboard. It has a cool appearance, the Bees are interesting you don’t really see that often! My stepson liked that. It’s a flexible deck, I use to skate and sometimes still do and this is a solid deck. We liked the light up wheels as well. The trucks were solid as too, aluminum. The grip tape on this deck was also decent too. The board glides well, we’ve all had a good time on this. Overall I would say this makes for a decent deck for a first one, I wanted to see if he was into long boarding before I paid a steep price. There are other colors to choose from, it’s packaged well too. PS- adjust the wheels!

This longboard is much bigger than I anticipated, especially since I got it for an 8 year old. That being said the quality is quite good, much better than I thought it would be at the price point. The deck is nice and wide, and has great grip. The wheels are nice and big and provide a very smooth ride. Even though it’s huge, my son has still been enjoying it. He can’t turn it, like at all, but he has been enjoying riding it in a straight line! Luckily we have a very long and straight driveway that’s about 1/4 of a mile long. So it works out great. Overall while this is a great board for beginners, if you want your child to be able to learn to turn I would get something smaller. But it would work great for teens and adults!

I got this so I could skateboard with my teenage niece. She liked it so much, she ended up using it more than I did. She said the color choice was very trendy and I let her borrow it to ride with her friends, who also have longboards. The assembly wasn't bad, but the wheels do need to be adjusted (my husband ended up doing this for me, since I have no idea how to do so) but the ride was pretty smooth once that was done.

 The long board is making it easy to learn how to skateboard. I find it really easy to balance.

This is a really nice beginner board. Equivalent to what you would find in the big box stores. The light up wheels are nice. Very 90s looking.

I love longboards. I had one when I was a kid and preferred it over a skateboard. My son has so much fun with this and it rides smooth. Great way to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. The wheels light up while riding and the top has decent grip. Well-made longboard for beginners, fun for cruising around.

My teen daughter is a complete beginner, and this is her first longboard, so I can't compare it to any others. I will note that it was easy for her to use and get a hang of, and the flashing lights are totally stealing the show when you are going downhill!The board comes with a tool to adjust the wheels if needed, but in our case she just hopped on it and went, and it seemed fine. She's not doing any tricks on it, but really enjoys cruising. The board seems sturdy and decently made.

Love this board so much. It is a thick board and holds up my weight well (160 lb). It has some bounce to it but it’s very sturdy. The wheels don’t really light up or show in the daylight but at sunset and night time they really glow up. Picture on the back is so vibrant in color and design. A+ board!!

I'm an adult that's never been able to even balance on a skateboard

Came in questionable condition with a rattling bolt. This is ok to mess around on and we are doing that but I can't really recommend it as a serious longboard that is well constructed.
